Heritage education is configured as an ideal framework for the treatment of socio-environmental problems relevant to modern society. To this end, it essential that teachers can develop proposals in classroom promote critical thinking and eco-social their students, based on innovative experiential methodologies. For reason, initial teacher training must ensure future acquire these tools. Thus, aim work identify conceptions student regarding gamification a teaching methodology address controversial heritage. achieve this, questionnaire has been designed with questions about heritage, controversy, educational gamification, which was given 235 students (M = 60; F 175) taking primary degrees at different Spanish universities. guide design research instrument analyze results, system categories developed SPSS data processing program used. The first results show that, even though think they do have predisposition use around heritage class, lack knowledge methodological strategies gamified activities, suggests dearth issues degree courses.
